Painted Pony Farm

Today we had a Girl Scout field trip to a super fun place in Ojai called the Painted Pony Farm.  It was a beautiful farm surrounded by mountains and the kids got some great hands-on experiences.  The girls got to hold baby chicks and bunnies, milk a goat, feed goats and sheep, & see lambs that were only 2 days old!  Here are some pictures from our exciting afternoon.

Holding a baby chick!  So cute!

Madelyn loved this little guy, and was surprisingly gentle with him.

This little lamb is only a few days old!

Not every 5 year old gets to milk a goat!

The goats loved Maddie because she kept the flowers coming.

  1. Oh Steph,,the opportunities you are able to give your girls are amazing. I can't believe how perfect it was timed, with all the baby animals!! Your Zoe is so brave and Maddie so sweet.
