Home

As the saying goes, home is where the heart is. Although we have lived in three different states and will be adding another one to that list very soon, my heart will always be in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.   It will always be home to me, no matter how old I get.  Getting to spend the month of July there with my family and friends was incredible.   The only thing that would have made it perfect is if we had Darryl with us, too.  I am so thankful for the opportunity and financial ability to spend some quality time with my famly and friends, and give my kids some great experiences.  After 3 ½ weeks of fun, we were sad to say goodbye but ready to come back to our California home.  The longer I was away, the more I realized that my heart is here too.  And there is a little bit of it in Virginia and Rhode Island as well.   I guess we are lucky to have so many places that we have called home, places where we have made memories with our loved ones.  Home is where the heart is, and my heart will always be my family.  I love you all.
